(Greenery) SABZEH

 

This project addresses the Nowruz that is the most important event in Iran. In this event, people celebrate the New Year and they make a table of seven objects start with "S" which each is symbolic. "Sabzeh" is one of them that has the meaning of life and happiness and the connection between human and nature and if you have it for Nowruz you will have happiness for whole year. Either a plant or a seeds are habitually kept for the 13 days of Nowruz.

Germinating the seeds is an accomplishment for them and I express my desire for getting perfection by growing them.

 

سبزه

 

سَبزه گیاهی است که در آن برخی از حبوبات را رویانده‌اند و از نشانه‌های نوروز و از اجزای سفره هفت سین است. ایرانیان معتقدند که سبزه شادابی و خرمی را در طول سال به همراه دارد و نشانی از ارتباط طبیعت با انسان است. مرسوم است که سبزه را تا روز سیزدهم نوروز که "سیزده به در" خوانده می‌شود نگاه داشته، و همراه با آن بدی‌ها و کدورت‌ها را دور می‏ریزند.

سبز شدن فضیلتی است براي دانه‌ها، و با سبز کردن دانه‌ها، درخواست درونيم را، كه رسيدن به کمال است، به نمايش می‌گذارم.
