        The team work between us has been an evolutional process;  formation of an art work often results from brainstorming collaborative ideas and skills. Our group performed many team works such as: "Carpet", "The Sound of Silence 1 & 2", "Fireworks", "The Pile of Pollution", "Patchwork", "Seven Windows", "Death of Turtles", "Border",  "The tent of Ashayer (Nomads)", "The Nest" and "Seven Thousands Curtains".

        Different approaches are seen in our pieces but what bring them together are mostly the use of natural materials and energy.  Also performing outdoor in the nature is another issue. Most of pieces are site specific installations but, "Fireworks", a second version of "The Sound of Silence" and "Seven Thousands Curtains" were performances specifically in the nature. By a closer look to our pieces we can recognize ecological, socio-economical and Persian folklore approaches in most pieces and mainly we express our relation with nature and interpret our relationship with it. For example, in the "Carpet" our intention has not been just to explain the generic concept of making a Persian carpet or patterns rather  something that cover a surface in the nature. Our focus is not just on the beauty and formal glamour of the carpets but tend to recreate the concept of the earth. Carpets are made out of different materials such as: moss, branches, pine needles and palm leaves.

        In "Fireworks", which is a metaphor of a traditional ceremony in Iran. Fire is a sign of joy, happiness and delight in Persian culture and also a metaphor for heavenly light in ancient Iranian theosophy. In ancient Zoroastrianism, fire and water are highly respected and fire is kept in holy places where called "Atashkade" and mostly back to Sassanid era. In "Fireworks", action and play is the most important feature of the art work rather than form and formal aspect of fire. The performance of this piece is something between a joyful play and a ritual and the outcome is enormously similar to theater. When the performer spins the burning sling, the audience is referred to the lust principle as well as the reality.

        Another aspect of our team works is their ecological tendency and that is obvious in pieces such as "Death of Turtles" and "Pile of Pollution". Our first step in this trend was working with bottles that eventually made "Pile of Pollution" possible. Like other environmental art works in Iran, we focus on formal beauty as well as ecological worries. In pieces such as "The Tent of Ashayer" and "Patchwork", we are more concerned with formal shapes and textures in the context of nature. In both these pieces, the focal point is the traditional handcrafts of Iranian rural women which are essentially colorful and vivid. But this did not mean we had remained idle but we had tried to make another interpretation of their culture possible.
